Sam is a junior undergraduate studying biomedical engineering with aspirations to pursue his PHD in biomedical engineering / biomechanics. Sam works alongside Garrett Bangert to characterize the long-term outcomes of high-energy distal tibia fractures in car collisions. Outside of the lab, Sam is an undergraduate teaching assistant and is both an athlete and the apparel officer for the Virginia Tech Triathlon Team. Some of Sam's favorite hobbies beyond school include hiking, camping, going to the beach, learning instruments, and solving Rubix cubes.
