Sydney is a junior undergraduate studying biomedical engineering with aspirations to pursue a masters in biomedical engineering at Virginia Tech. Sydney works alongside Alejandro Venable-Croft to implement machine learning applications in Orthopaedics to predict pseudarthrosis. Outside of the lab, Sydney is a shift lead volunteer for Hope to Walk. Some of Sydney's favorite hobbies beyond school include athletic training, crocheting, line dancing, cooking/baking, reading, and exploring new areas of knowledge.
